Upload files with the file manager or SFTP

Edit configs in the browser, or move large files with an SFTP client.

File manager

Files in the panel lets you browse, edit, upload, rename, compress and unpack files in the browser. It works well for config edits and small uploads.

SFTP for big uploads

Worlds, modpacks and anything over a few hundred MB are easier over SFTP. Use a client such as FileZilla or WinSCP.

  1. In the panel, open your server’s Settings page. SFTP Details shows the server address (port 2022) and your username, which looks like yourname.abc12345.
  2. The password is your game panel password. If you only ever logged in through the client area, set one first with Forgot password? on the panel login page.
  3. In your client, choose the SFTP protocol (not FTP), then enter the host, port 2022, username and password.

Stop the server before you replace world files, so it doesn’t overwrite them on its way down.
