Game panel

Console, start, stop and restart

Control your server and run commands from the panel's console.

The Console page shows the server’s live output, along with its memory, CPU and disk use.

  • Start boots the server.
  • Restart stops it cleanly and starts it again.
  • Stop sends the game’s normal stop command so it saves first.
  • Kill ends the process at once and does not save. Use it only when a server is stuck and won’t stop.

Type commands into the box at the bottom of the console, for example say Restarting in 5 minutes on Minecraft. Don’t type a leading /.

A server keeps crashing

Scroll up in the console to find the first error. The usual causes are:

  • Out of memory: a mod or plugin pack that needs more memory than the plan has.
  • A broken plugin or mod: remove the newest one and start the server again.
  • Corrupted world files: restore a backup from before the problem started.
